セシル・ドミンゴはペルーのリマに生まれ、Gamor Technical Institute(工科大学)で建築デザインを学び、Universidad de Lima(リマの大学)でIndustrial Human Relations(労使関係管理)を学びました。趣味はサッカー、絵を描くこと、ラテンダンスそしてアフロ・カリビアンジャズです。1982年に渡米。1986年にはベリー・ワインのQuilted Giraffeのスタッフとして働き。アート・オブ・フラワーデザイニングをえて自分のアイディアを生かせるデザイナーとなり現在SCA本社のエグゼクティブ・ダイニングルームのアートディレクターとして働いています。ここではスシ・バーや様々なレストランで週に1回一流のメニューを提供する傍ら、パーソンズ・スクール・オブ・デザインではフラワーベースのクラスの特別講師として生徒たちと様々なイベント用の花瓶をデザインしています。
 
Cecil Dominguez was born in Lima-Peru, studied Mechanical and Architectural Drawing Design at Gamor Technical Institute and Industrial Human Relations at Universidad de Lima. His hobbies are Football soccer, painting, Latin dancing and Afro-Caribbean jazz. He came to New York in November of 1982. Neither his studies nor his hobbies had prepared him for the industries he worked in Manhattan, The Flower and Food Industries. By April of 1986, he was already part of Barry Wine’s Quilted Giraffe staff. Barry introduced Cecil into the Art of Flower Designing, targeting the food industry, advising him to be a self-thought Designer. Now he is the Art Director of the Sony Club at the Executive Dining Room of SCA Headquarters (Phillip Johnson Building). This facility features weekly four-star menus, a Sushi Bar Room and amazing Phillip Johnson Building views of Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and New Jersey. On the other hand, Parsons School of Design has giving him the opportunity to teach its Innovative Flower Vases Class as a guest Teacher; a place where Cecil and students get creative and design flower vases for different events and occasions. At this time, he is fussing his talents, studies, hobbies and experience to apply it on new ventures in the Restaurant Industry.
