ウィリアムズバーグにはアパレルだけではなくあらゆる飲食店も揃っていて、プラネット タイ（Planet Thai）で日・中・タイのミックス料理を楽しみ、スパーキーズ アメリカンフード（Sparky's American Food）と言う地元の飲み屋では放牧牛を使用したちょっとシャレたヘルシー・ホット・ドッグを食べることができます。年配の方、または若い世代の人には伝統的なポーランドと東ヨーロッパ系デリがいいでしょう。中でも最高のキゥバサ（＊ポーランドのソーセージ）と ピロシキを試しに足を運んでみてください。
アートギャラリーでは地元の画家、カメラマンや彫刻家の展示会があったり、週末の夜には人々が沢山あるバー、ラウンジとライブハウス、そして醸造所通り（Brewery Row）として知られる場所をハシゴしています。 この通りはかつて禁酒法が制定されていた頃、自治区のお抱えの専門醸造者が多く集まっていた場所です。

Bedford Avenue
For the past several years, neighborhoods in Brooklyn have been the scene of a physical and cultural revival. In the mid and late 1990's high rents in Manhattan forced people to look outside the city for affordable neighborhoods, leading many to Williamsburg -across New York's East River.
Once heavily populated by Polish immigrants, the neighborhood has become home to an eclectic mix of artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and young professionals.
Most of this set can be found on Bedford Avenue. one of the main streets in the area for shopping and dining. Here you'll find boutiques selling vintage second-hand clothing -- Beacon's Closet being the largest and most popular of these fashion outlets. Record stores feature releases by local bands and indie-rock staples alike. Area clothing companies, such as Brooklyn Industries, have opened their own shops along Bedford Ave. Apartments are stocked with custom furniture from designers who live, work, and run their businesses in the neighborhood. |

Williamsburg itself also offers quite a selection of restaurants serving every type of cuisine: from the exotic at Planet Thai, featuring dishes fusing Japanese, Chinese & Thai, to healthy comfort food staples at a local joint like Sparky's American Food that serves dressed up hot dogs made from humanely raised free-range beef. Traditional Polish and Eastern European delis cater to the older and younger residents as well. Stop by any one of these for some of the best kielbasa and pierogi you'll ever have.
Art galleries stage exhibitions from local painters, photographers and sculptors. On nights and weekends people wander in and out of bars, lounges and live music clubs - of which there are plenty -- and Brooklyn Brewery, the borough's own specialty brewer, dominates an area known as Brewers Row. - once home to several pre-Prohibition Era companies.
Bedford Avenue has been a hot spot for a few years now and it's growth continues to bring people who are looking for a hip, independent vibe out to Brooklyn.
